Another popular Playstation game franchise makes its way to minimate form with Uncharted. Nathan and Chloe are two modern-day fortune hunters that travel the globe to unearth various historical mysteries. So is this set a treasure on its own? More after the jump…

Packaging

The packaging is the blister card pack showcasing the figures and accessories. The pack has an insert with the Uncharted logo with headshots of the two characters. The back shows full shot of both figures with a short bio of each of the two characters included. The TRU exclusive sticker is on the front along with the PlayStation Official Licensed Product sticker.

The Figures

Nathan Drake

Nate is the main character in the Uncharted series. I’ve honestly never played any of the games before but it looks very interesting, sort of in the same line as Tomb Raider.

Nate has a rugged look to him. His hairpiece is the same one we’ve seen used recently for Hawkeye in black. Decent amount of detail for his face and it matches to how he looks in the game. His outfit is simple with brown shirt with jeans but I really like the little details they’ve included with rolled up sleeves and the little loop necklace. It’s the little extra’s that make this figure stand out. He comes with a shoulder harness with a extra little pack under his left arm. He also has a brown bracelet and a nicely detailed belt/holster.  The paint apps are crisp and stand out on the earthy colors of his outfit. Even the little black on the front of his feet for his climbing boots are a nice touch.

Nate comes with two accessories; a black handgun and a phurba (which is sort of an ancient  magic dagger, I’m sure it has some use in the game). Even if you are not familiar with the character or game he still makes a great generic character. He’s also perfect for part swapping to create other generic characters.

All in all he’s a really good figure. I guess I really need to go try that game now, huh?

Chloe Frazer

Chloe is actually first introduced in the second game in the series; Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. She acts as more of the darker side to Drake and seems to be one of the more popular characters in this series.

She has a detailed black hairpiece with her hair pulled to the back with a red band. Simple but bright details for her eyes and lips. She too has the rugged outfit look going on. The colors of her tattered shirt stand out well to her cargo pants. I really like the pocket details that she has on the front, sides and even the back of her legs. Another good job with crisp paint application. Chloe also has some good extras with a detailed belt/holster and harness with pack under her right arm.

Like Drake she comes with a gun, silver this time and a small dagger. She also makes another good generic character for part swaps.

So I’m sure this set is a definite treasure for Uncharted fans and even to the rest of us they are impressive figures to add to your collection.
