Two of the remaining Heralds of Galactus from the TRU poll make their way to this exclusive 2-pack. They weren’t picked for the 4-pack but they look like they could burn their way to the top of the charts.

The Figures
Pyreus Kril the Firelord
No it’s not Firestorm from DC comics but rather another of Galactus’s lackeys from the 70’s. He was originally a part of the Nova Corps before he served for Galactus. Firelord later gains his freedom and goes on to help the Silver Surfer, Thor and others.
Now he has a really good flame hairpiece; it’s not the one large flame like you see on Human Torch or Ghost Rider but rather it looks like each strand of hair is lit in translucent red flame. The paint apps on him are bright, crisp and neat. His face detail is excellent especially with those fiery bushy eyebrows. The rest of his torso, arms and legs have just as much detail. Even his white belt midsection thing extends all the way around the torso block.
He comes with two awesome accessories. First is the foot blast bases that we’ve seen several times before but this time done in bright red. And he also comes with a flaming q-tip; yes I know it’s a flame staff but someone on the forum had to say flaming q-tip and now that’s all I see when I look at it. The staff is done in translucent red/orange plastic that is quite flexible. So when you display him with it you may want to go with him holding the staff with both hands as the tips do bend down somewhat when holding with just one hand.
In conclusion, he’s one of the best heralds we’ve had in minimate form!
[ring announcer voice] In this corner, also hailing from the Xandarian Nova Corps, good friend of Pyreus Kril and devoted servant of Galactus … Gabriel the Air-Walker!! [/voice] Sorry, the skirt and gloves make him look like a boxer. It’s not a big surprise that these two characters are packed together since their stories are so intertwined.
Gabriel’s upper torso and head has this pearl color very similar to 90’s Storm. He has a short cap piece with gold symbol on front. Again the paint apps and details are very well done. His face has a hard set expression on it. His shoulder pieces are in fact one harness piece with a peg in the back for his flame accessory. He has the older style one-piece buccaneer gloves and red with gold belt skirt that seriously looks like boxer shorts. There’s also loads of detail on his legs.
For accessories he comes with an impressive translucent flame wings that fit on his shoulder harness. The weight of these wings make him fall over and unfortunately on mine the peg-holes on the bottom of his feet are too big for the included clear stand and even for the other disk bases (I had the best luck with using Lego pieces or the stands from the LotR figures). He has some good parts for customizing: skirt, gloves and shoulder harness. And I’m sure those flame wings would be good fits for other pyrotechnic style characters (looking at you Dark Phoenix).
He may not be as perfect as his buddy but he’s still a very good figure.

You should set up a pic of Spider-Man beating Firelord, reenacting one of the most implausible fights in Marvel history.
Classic!
