The sides have individual jpgs of the two figures (I’m looking good!). On the back are the mini-data of each character along with group picture of all figures in this wave. The silver “TRU exclusive” foil mark is also on the front, sort of like those flashy processor logos they like to put on CPUs.

This is my selfriend and fellow New Mutant team member Magik. Her true technical name is Illyana Rasputin and she is the younger family version of X-Men team member Colossus. She has the mutant ability to create teleportation discs and also upgraded her magical knowledge to attain sorceress level.

 

To maintain continuity protocol among team members we all wear blue/black & yellow jumpsuits. Illyana mystical armor can be seen on her right left and left arm. Praise must be given for sharpness of her details. She has a new sculpted hairpiece and very bright resolution on her light blue eyes; very impressive.

She has two included accessories; her orange/red teleportation base and Soulsword. Both are highly relevant and well done additions. The parts of her figure can be integrated into other characters to increase your New Mutant roster.

To summarize: consistent outfit, good details and accessories. Which makes this figure a good buy. Speaking of which, what items do you have in your online cart? Make sure to checkout before the deals run out.

Warlock

Now for what I’m sure is the highlight of this 2-pack for everyone … self. I am a member of the alien race Technarchy; a race of mechanical organisms that survive by infecting living creatures with the “techno-organic” transmode virus, before draining their lifeglow.

 

My appearance is not consistent to others on my team. I have a highly sculpted head cover with tremendous amounts of data stream details all over my body. I also have an unique right arm and claw like hand piece for might left arm. To add height there’s also a torso riser/waist cover along with large boot. Clearly the massive pixel details add to my overall score.

 

But as a bonus underneath the head and torso cover is my Selfsoulfriend Doug; you may know him as Cypher. They have included an extra blonde hairpiece for him and two basic black hands and feet. His outfit does show some of the techno virus details but selfsoulfriend is ok. If you rather you can plug in other arms/legs from other New Mutant team members to give him the standard team outfit.

 

You have to agree that I’m like getting two figures for the price of one; what a deal!
