The packaging is the blister card pack showcasing the figures and accessories. The pack has an insert with The Walking Dead logo. The silver TRU Exclusive foil sticker is on the front. The back shows a group shot of all the figures in this series along with a short bio of each of the two characters included.

The Figures

Lori

WDzt03

Rick Grime’s wife, Lori was forced to leave her comatose husband in the hospital while she and her son escaped from the outbreak. Rick later emerged from his coma, but not before Lori had found solace with his best friend, Shane. Sounds like one of those daytime soap operas, just with zombies.

For a fairly generic human character (compared to the numerous super heroes, monsters & more that we usually see) she has a lot of well-done details. Her long black hairpiece looks really good and she has lots of facial details too. I especially like the little eyelashes around her eyes; it’s a small detail but just goes to show you the amount of thought put into these figures.

WDzt06

Her shirt has that checkerboard design all around her arms and torso. The amount of all-over detail reminds me of the wonderful design on Thing and Carnage from the Marvel line. Even her basic jeans have that little bit of details for her belt.

WDzt07

She comes with the same rifle that’s been in the other Walking Dead sets. Outside of this line she makes for a great generic character and even for simple part swaps with other characters to give them a change in outfit.

WDzt08

In conclusion she not only fits wonderfully in this Walking Dead line she makes a great generic character for any of the other minimate lines.

Zombie Terry

WDzt09

If you’ve read the comics or seen the show, then you know Michonne is a bad-ass. So how hardcore is she? Well, her boyfriend Mike and his friend Terry were turned into zombies; so she removed their jaws and arms to make them harmless, and used them to hide from the zombie horde. Lookup bad-ass in the dictionary, yep there’s her picture.

WDzt11

Terry has a well done face; you can see the flesh underneath where his jaw was removed. He’s still pretty menacing for a subdued zombie. Now you guys are going to have to cut me some slack on these pictures. It was like 31 degrees outside when I took these pics and Terry’s extra arms did not want to go on. The plastic was not giving at all and I didn’t want to end up with broken joints. With it so cold his head was not going to budge either but as you can see he has a silver collar around his neck with attached metal chain. Ideally it would be nice to have a loop for the other end too so we can attached Terry and Mike together. But alas not the case here, you’ll have to snag a small metal loop from your keychain or something.

His torso has nice detailing front and back. You can see the red flesh underneath the grey skin where his arms were removed. They’ve also included these little flesh chunks for around his arm pegs. They look best with the open part of the ‘C’ facing down but for the life of me I couldn’t keep them that way for pictures. I’m probably going to add a dab of glue on mine to keep them in place for the future.  The rest is a simple set of jean legs with grey feet.

WDzt13

As I’ve said they did include an extra pair of arms and they do fit on like normal (when your temps are above freezing). Lots of good parts for swapping and making extra zombies.

Overall another good zombie for the growing horde.
