Up next another heartbreaker from the first Femme Fatales box set, Lady Death. Let’s see how she compares to the rest of the lineup.

Packaging

FFb1 01

The packaging is a large size blister card that show off the figures in the foreground. There’s an insert with the large Femme Fatales logo along with logos for each of the character’s comics: Dawn, Darkchylde, Lady Death and Tarot Witch of the Black Rose. The back has a group shot of the figures in this set along with paragraph for each figure/comic.

The Figure

Lady Death

FFb1 14

Hope made a deal with a demon to save her life in exchange for being a servant of Hell. As Lady Death, she eventually turned again her masters to rule the underworld.

Lady Death has an excellent long flowing white hairpiece that goes almost down to the back of her knees. It does tend to make her fall backwards and sorta difficult to keep standing upright (I know there’s a joke in there somewhere but I’ll let it be for now) but a base stand makes an easy fix for that. The details on her face stand out very well against the base white figure and a few simple lines easily convey her determined mood.

She comes with a black cape with red colored interior. I love the little gold skull detail for the clasp at the neck. Her hair fits over this cape well and also works just as well without the cape. The rest of her figure is a base white minimate with black thong bikini with long black gloves and stockings. Again great little details for the gold skull clasps.

Lady Death comes with a serrated blade sword with ornate gold skull hilt. It’s definitely the best sword of the pack.

In conclusion, she’s my favorite figure of this set and a perfect representation of the comic book character.
