This is a shared 2-pack between the LCS and TRU waves but unlike the TRU version, this one sets the gold standard….
Packaging
The box is the expanded window box so you can see both characters along with the accessories in the middle. The character names and control art bust shots are below the windows. On top is a picture of Iron Man with the Avengers Initiative logo in the middle. The sides have individual control art of each character. On the back are the mini-bios of each character along with group picture of all figures in this wave.
The Figures
Iron Man Mark 42 (gold version)
I’ve already reviewed the TRU version of the same armor, the only difference is this version has gold paint instead of mustard yellow. All the rest is the exact same. Same details, same parts and accessories, same caution for arm movements. Same excellent figure just with a better shinier paint job.

Mandarin

Regarding the Mandarin, does it look like one has shoe-laces whereas the other one doesn’t appear to have them? Or is that an error?
I think it’s just an error on mine (TRU on left, LCS on right). All the other pictures of the LCS version I’ve seen have the laces.
